What does it mean to be More Than a Coder?
We’ve always looked for employees who enjoy communication, teamwork, business management, and more. With our commitment to finding multi-talented team members, we created our motto to be “More Than a Coder.” So, what does it mean to be More Than a Coder?
Jules, a Senior Consultant, described it very eloquently: “Here at Macedon, we don’t sit in front of our computer screens all day and code. We have many other skills and expertise to bring to our clients – we are adept at leading meetings, refining the backlog, suggesting better ways of implementing solutions, among many other things. Being More Than a Coder means providing our clients with more than just some code.”
Over the years, many staff members have taken it to a new level, by serving our community. For example, providing winter jackets to a local Elementary School, managing our yearly Turkey drive, mentoring a Robotics team, and offering a STEM day for Elementary School students.
