How Digital Transformation Shapes Life Sciences

This week, our team members Jonathan Frankel and Stacey Wright joined peers and leaders in the industry by attending the Appian Life Sciences and Healthcare User Group event hosted by Appian and Johnson & Johnson. The collaborative event was centered around discussions on how Digital Transformation will shape the Life Sciences industry in 2023.

A few initiatives discussed were:

• Testing Automation - including UAT!

• Improving Dashboards to improve insight across a growing data fabric

• Utilizing Appian functionality to improve patient outcomes, such as Portals, Process Mining, RPA, and Intelligent Document Processing

• The importance of change management

Besides these topics, this event covered challenges and successes within the life sciences and healthcare fields. Organizations at different levels within their Appian practice maturity presented, illustrating how intelligent automation has provided positive outcomes all along the growth curve of a robust BPM practice.
